Thailand - a journey (part4)

No time to get lazy and we're off to breakfast and as it is I can recommend not to only eat in Hotels, also look out for the little shops and coffees on the street and here I was at a kind of coffee for mostly muslim as you may remember the South is field with many people who are believing in the Islam. Easy going and friendly are they and the food perfect for a start of a day.

In the same time I was able to catch a bit of the everyday life which is one of the exiting things while discovering a foreign country.
Nature was and is in Thailand a very common thing as it is astonishing how many different plants grow here, thought on the way of through the country you mostly see in the South those rubber tree farms along the streets. Miles after miles.
To get an idea of the richness of nature it is always a good thing to try the botanical garden. Here you can take your time to awww and look around and do your ooohs.

Next station was the oldest Train Station and it is still in use. Going from Satun to Bangkok. Very nice build and charming. There you can see how they build in the past 200 years ago. Of course a picture of King and Queen is not missing and to see on the Entry. Taking a coffee and breathing the atmosphere was very nice in the LOVE Coffee next to the station.
A while later we went round the corner to a very old house from 19-hundred, but unfortunately it was closed. Well, it was monday and like in most European countries museums are closed. But the building looked nice already from the outside and wild animals are to find in the garden if you're lucky.

King & Queen

LOVE STATION-perfect name for a coffee to drink .. well... coffee
Sad as this was, we went on to a hot springs and there are some in the south. Mostly be aware that they are little and cost entry and are dull. I am sorry to write this but what I saw was not that interesting or what you might expect from a hot spring.

Though this one was very nice, little but bubbling and with really hot water and that's why you find on the warnings not to boil eggs. Unbelievable, but some tourist actually did try this. Sometimes you cannot but wonder how crazy and stupid people are.

Now you will see some pics from the way we drove and how people also live and how the pineapple is peeled by hand.

But the day was far from being over, so driving to Trang was on our way but before arriving the town itself we went on to see the beach. Romantic and miracle- a- like to discover and to eat Thai food and rest a while in the sun or better under the shadow of the palm trees.

Trang. Late afternoon, but before seven o'clock I arrived in the middle of the town Trang and went into a very nice hotel and room. Traffic and noise around me, I took a short break and then went to the Wat in town, which took me just a walk of ten minutes or so. Could not go inside as it is only open on celebration days for the folk and so for the tourist. Nevertheless it is a nice Wat and a perfect closing for the day. And while I went down back to the hotel, I bought those green tea with soya milk to try a very typical drink from Thailand. But I must say it tasted to strange and chemical for me and I could not drink it to the end. My Latte was better. Sorry guys.
And for all the others- now pics from Trang, the hotel, the Wat and green Tea with Milk...
yes, houses use to be quite colorful in Thailand

the hotel is exactly next to the Train station of Trang

bedtime but before.. talking about what we found at the beach after lunch under palm trees
