Bali- halo and bagus

Which means "hello" and "good".
And here we are again... and you waited long enough for the next part of the journey -through an island, like Paradise.
Well where are we now? In the north. Swimming in the ocean, taking out with a boat to see fishes so colorful and beautiful like you may know it from all the documentaries and the corals are such beautiful to experience that you will absolutely enjoy it, although if diving with a class and something to breath with is not your thing, then you maybe won't have that much fun and as a beginner be warned to expect  a nice beach but not easy to walk into the water one, cos the corals are very, very near to the beach. Makes it quite a challenge to step into the water without falling and having a little flesh wound, which we all had in the end. So tip for journeys....always have a first aid kit with you!
And never forget the power of the sun... Which becomes stronger when you're on water or diving under. Anyway, we had a lot of fun but no pictures from this day... Although some things are just not made to be on pics, just to be in your mind and memory. Oh the name of the place we had our swimming time was "Menjangan Island". Famous for the balinese because there is a temple too for fisherman and one thing is also for sure, it's not an Island for tourist, just the beach is, because there are a lot of snakes. Big and small, but most of them dangerous. So- best place to stay is near the village Pemuteran, so you won't waste much time to get to all the places to swim and see the fishes and.. dolphins. Sure you have to get up very early to watch these beautiful creations of nature and better be in a good mood and have positive thoughs, otherwise they won't come up to show.
Remember what I said about food and restaurant and rest rooms in the north? Well be sure you can take it the hard way. The quality and hygiene is very low here.
So we where happy when the tour went on to Pekutatan. On the way we had a stop in the natural reservat/ national park. Having a two hour walk into the woods... Which was in some ways interesting like to see ants living on trees and the Bali star (the national bird , but sadly it is in danger to die out), but as it was no rain time, it was not much to see but when we stood on one of the towers in the middle of the wood the wind was blowing- like you have to fly. Yes don't blow away! is a though which cross your mind. At the end of the walk we arrived at the ocean which was such a beautiful view and then those animals living in beetween the mangrove trees. Just watch the pics and try to find them cos again you'll see how perfect the animals have become to hide in front of your eyes.
Next step? The biggest catholic church in Bali. Of course. One of the most beautiful villages by the way I saw on the whole trip. We arrived and there was a group of women standing on the stars and the moment they saw us they invited us to be part of their pic ( to make more people..-most balines are not catholic)and when they got to know we came from Germany they where like... Oh how nice.." I love you..", " Ich liebe dich" and hardly could not stand it not to get a pic with one of our german guys.
His girlfriend had to worry a bit. The church itself is a mix of Bali style and european. Nice. Simple in a way.
Then it was time to go on and rise field over rise field crossed the way. The most beautiful fields are in the west of Bali. Ask your guide and driver to take a stop once in while so you can make pics and see the rise goddess.
At the end we arrived in on of the best hotels on our tour and it was looking like Paradise. The rooms the area, the beach, the food... the pool.. I was just so happy like Kate Winslet in "The Holiday" when she arrived in the house in L.A. and could not resist to jump into the pool as soon as I could, cos it was a real proper pool! Not for children or non swimmer. The Pura Dajuma Cottage is a place to recommend but on the way we saw that the balines build their own coal power plant. Just now the electricity comes from Java and is made of water. Well modern times can be bad for nature. Sad but true. How long this will last. We don't know.
And then our last day of the tour starts. Like with everything times flies and then it is time to say "Be seeing you" or so.
But we did not took just the way back to south Bali. We made severals stops like we were used to and so we saw the rubber plantations, Coconut plantations, the very old "Banyan tree", where you can walk under the roots and as it was cloudy- the scene was very much kind of romantic and last but not least the "Tanah Lot Temple". I could only make a pic of the sister temple cos the battery was down but you can sure look it up on the internet and find thousand of pictures. It was full ... maybe to much people there... The holy snake is able to touch and feels like a garden tube. After all I thought how sad for that animal... All the people touching it and no chance to go where it wants. The holy water is there to find too but I am not paying for such thing.
