After sleeping well, doing my meditation and yoga, I went to breakfast which was not a buffet here and so I chosed egg and traditional balinese food, like pineapple, mango and co and of course rise.
Now the two other people had arrived. Two with whom I made the tour together. They are from south Germany and quite a nice couple.
The streets in bali are now much better but as I may have told it through to you, they drive like crazy... but not that crazy like in India t.ex.... :-)
We drove to the Gungung Agung the biggest mountain in Bali with 3.142 meters high and, we also saw the mother temple of Bali, the Besakih, then we saw some different plants and learned how the most expensive coffee in the world is made and tried some different coffees. Mostly a combination of typical balinese coffee and some sweet stuff.
The holy water source from Tirta Gangga was on the way too, where once only the king and his family was able to bath in, but you know what... No we can do it too... and it is not the only one sacred source.
But we started with the little village Balaiga, a traditional and very old one... There you see the way they made those palm writing and how they used to live before they changed into having each their own house and fence and temple and altar.
And before the mother temple gets a visit from us in sarong... or long trousers... (but never show naked shoulders... ! Balinese looked very angry when they saw this...) we also saw a lot of traditional art, which mostly was about their religion and also some eggs where painted, but I believe this is not so traditional, cos asian tourist love them and the russian maybe too.
And of course we made a dinner at the ocean at night too. The food was a mix of traditional and european, which is very sad but typical... to eat traditional you must enter the "Warong", the little streets restaurants, otherwise you get mostly european or american style food. And now, enjoy the pics...

that's the animal and here is the reason why we are talkin' about.. the coffee... and if you think about that 1 Euro is about 15.000 indonesian Rupiah, well... expensive coffee... |

the fruit is called Rambutan and tasted bit sour and nutty.. |

try different coffee flavor.. |

big street isn't it? well two cars can drive next to each other without any problem..for a balinese.. never saw a car who had a scare, but if there is a crash, then it's a real crash... we saw one... |

you never climb the stairs straight on... the doors are never on one line.. why? |
![]() |
cos the demons can only ran straight and not take a curve and here we see the start for a ceremony |

and here they come, people over people to celebrate and bringing their offerings |
