As it is time to think of christmas, you maybe need something to buy for a friend, a husband or a brother. Well, it is always difficult when you buy a movie, as man have such different taste. But here I can recommend a DVD of a series, which actually has more shows then this one I will show you now.
It's about a man, en ex mariene, who goes into the wild like McGyver.
Really, he has nothing more then his mind and a knife. That's all. There are just two cameras following him and it is actually very interesting following him through the jungle, the desert or another nature area, as he is always taking the risk to go where no one lives. Trying to find his way through untill he can be saved from a helicopter. Trying to find some food as he must eat and drink. Otherwise no power for all the jumping.
He started this show to show how we can still survive and as many now are just living in towns, we may lost the contact to nature and the way to get through. Even known survviing is not all about being in the djungle.
Anyway, it is very much fun and god to know what he is explaining and telling. The right DVD for several afternoons to keep a busy guy home and maken him calm down. Although girls may like this too as the guy is charming and doing what everyone could do as long as you try and well are a little bit trained.
So that feeling that making a bit sport in real life can pop up. :-)
So this is my x-mass gift idea number one... as I will continue to show some DVDs and other stuff you may like to send to friends.
