After a hard works week many of us try to calm down and get some rest and want to feel peace.
But there is often not much time for it. We have to keep up with the housecleaning, buy the food for the next week, wash our clothes and then we have family and friends.
How do we manage then to get some energy back, as we are working it of from monday to friday? Not to mention those who work 7 days or more in a row. And always the money problem in the back, the question what to do next, what to buy and what to plan and so on and on. Sometimes it seems other people have it more easier then you, but actually most of us have it the same way more or lesson.
Sometimes we even wonder how big families make it through the day itself. Working all day and then working home for the children and that nothing breaks apart.
How will we reach a peaceful moment?
We try it with sport. We meditate and do yoga. We do it as much as we can and often make it a competition. Most time with ourself.
Many people believe to get peace and be yourself is only possible on special places and just to reach on holidays. Even then they make it a competition, something they plan they have to, they must achieve.
But they all forget that getting a minute to breath in and out and feel relax is nothing you can enforce. The more you try it, the less success you will have and the more you are on the way to depression and bad mood. Exactly what you don't wanted.
So, many flee into religious. And make it a sport to pray and live after some rules they don't questioning. Maybe after a while some of those people are convince that they have found inner peace and the right way. Religious often does and have this effect on people. Especially in the beginning.
Even when you try to be a monk you can be wrong with believing that you are in the middle of yourself every time. The truth is- no one is and will be, but that is o.k..
Most then say they do fight to keep control and to stay in the middle but fighting just cost energy and gives you hopeless depression on it's way.
So one thing is to understand that you have to let go fighting, which does not mean to give up everything and yourself, it is more to let lose and enjoy the moment and take it as it comes and try to avoid to name it or even if you do, so name it and put it away and get back to the present, the moment you are in and search for the best and positive.
And no, you don't need a place without noise, traffic, work, people surrounding you. All you have to do is to let those things gone buy and take them as a part of your reality. Then you will feel peace. Then you will have the way to relax and calm down and get energy back.
So taking a walk can have this effect. Sitting in a coffee, and taste the drink for real and smell the air and maybe just close your eyes for a moment and let things just pass buy. Then trouble can be around you and you will still feel good.
We have to remember more often that all is in flow and nothing last forever and you always have a choice, even know that it is not always the easy way and sometimes it is just to vote from two bad things. But when we did, we can go on and have the next chance.
Also we should remember whatever bad happen, we can catch good moment by our self and if it just to buy and ice cream and enjoy the moment of luxury.
This will then also be the secret to make it good in your job and to find always a best way to get through tuff times, even know this also sounds more easy as it is. We are humans and have learned a lot to make it hard. This won't always leave us so easy.
I know that as I have to face many times unpopular situation and discussion in my job and also I must be able to take into not so nice situations. I also have to remember myself to let lose and find something different after the job to get back to the energy I need for a hard work. But also I try to have it good at work as much as possible with keeping my empathy, mood and try to stay relax as I have learned that nothing breaks down immediately. You always have time to relax and can always make it go round again if something went wrong or another way as expected. It's the challenge I take as such and then I always try to see that I work with people who stand on their own place. Not judging is a part of that.
Not always easy.
Communication is also very important. They need to know. Whatever you do or it is- talk and talk and stay calm and have a minimum of understanding but also I try to be truthful in how fast or how much we can change things in the situation we are in.
In these days when things get more and more unclear, unsure and stressful it is so important for each to remember to relax as we feel in our shoulders when we have stressed our self to much, when we expect to much, when we rush to fast and we feel it with other sorts of pain.
It has a reason why I recommend massage and physiotherapy. It is why I spend money on it, even thought there are other things I would like t spend money to but health is so important and we learn this far to less and far to many are not really aware of the importance.
And yes do your sport, meditation, yoga etc. but do it freely, do it without hesitating and let lose of competition. Just do it and try to have fun. And if you have a bad day, make a break and try again or another time. Not everyday is a good day to meditate.... but the more you practice, the better you'll get, the easier it will be and even then be aware there will be days you just can't make it. There will be days your meditation is a hard try and that is all. Don't worry, like with sport and yoga, just take it as it is and go on. Next time it will be better again.
Love & Light
