A walk in Berlin

...and so the Mister is takin' you to a little walk... come with me!
and let's start with these old house which is getting to be renewd... but till then live goes on...
and so we see this...this is one of those places when I am going to talk about secret places..... it's so quite and you won't believe being in a big town....
which can happen too, when you are in one of the many parks we have and this one is called the "Mauerpark"named after the wall which once stood there and now it's a park and on sundays there is a big market for everything... very big.... so take your time....
...and yes, I do may walks no matter if it rains or shines... you know what people say..there is no bad weather, just wrong cloths... :-)


The town is up and down and old parts comes up when you wanna start new things...like a castle which once was...

...and here we have something the most don't like.. not because it's modern, it's big and let's say it ugly... the blue building is ...thank god only for a short time there- whatever this means at the end... we never know how long these things stay...
History meets us on the way and well, not everyone likes it...
but then you can look away and find something you like... or don't you?

Sometimes I like to do a little walk in town, my hometown Berlin. Will you follow me..?

It's always so exciting to see what's going on. Yes the town is known for its workin' in progress.

The best thing is, that you still can see many evidence which seems to prove to survive the future. For all readers outside Germany, you must know, not only the country was once divided, no even Berlin was once divided in two parts. This fact you'll able to see on different places...

When I take a walk I try to feel the mood of the districts. 'Cos every has it's own mood, own church, own park, own marketplace. That's because how the town is crown up. Once it started with two villages, which became a little town, which got bigger and bigger fast and so the other villages around became parts of Berlin. Sometimes you really think Berlin is a villages. It feels sometimes like this, particularly when you're out in the clubs. But on the other side everyone who's moving to Berlin can find the place to feel good.

Well, Berlin was always a town know for newcomers and so the most don't stay forever here. It's very much like with Paris and London, but unlike those towns it's not so expensive to stay here. The best thing maybe is, that you can try everything here. No matter what you wanna try, if it's a show, a job, a study, your cloths stile or a party... here you can really learn and find out what is functional, what's not. But getting rich, this is no place for it, not if it's about money, but for your heart, soul, mind... it's maybe one of the best places you can choose.

You must be maybe sometimes kind of a fighter, but always it's best to get to know who you are as far as it gets for surviving best. Yes Berlin can be cruel, boring, unfriendly, gray and disgusting.

But then I remember all the history, the culture, the chances we have here, the fun, the inventiveness, the parks, the beaches (yes we have some...some real, some made..), children and dogs (maybe the most of them are here in Berlin.. it's the only town in Germany where the number rises) the young people who tries to be smart and get along with live out of mothers home... that you are able to have a good live quality at the end... Berlin has a lot of coffees and restaurants, and also a lot art.... in the streets, in the museum or in other places... many secret gardens and yes urban gardening is happening here too.

And at least you can meet John Lennon on places you never would expect...

and then think of his song.... Love is all you need... and smile and go along... into a coffee... take a cake and talk to a friend...

The power of decorations....

Hej folks... The Power of decorations can light you up a light and make you smile... no matter what kind of decoration you prefer... a flat or other parts of a house or garden are more warm and friendly when you do put some nice stuff on it or in it...
....yes the simplest way is to buy flowers or find them in nature and take 'em home and enjoy the beauty of a simple and not so simple thing like a flower or a green plant like a little tree for your place....
....or you find some other kinds of decoration, if you're not the best with flowers or plants... or you're a much traveler, then maybe these kind of things are better....
...and if you have not much money and don't know your taste yet, well then try it with candles, simple, warm and romantic.. gives you light and always a special mood...
For me I try a mix of different things to make myself feel that my place is special, my home and warm and to have something to enjoy and being grateful that these things are part of my life....
So, art can do this too.... if it's just for your home or a office, it always gives you the feeling of something special... and you'll be remind... that you're worth more then a dollar in the hand...
...yes books or something which looks like a book can be kind of decoration too... here is an example you can sit on, but otherwise, nice books can be read too... :-)
Here's an example which shows you why I love to have flowers home and like you see, the shining sun makes it more beauty and bit of a miracle...the play of the shadows... like in fairy tails, but only home...
....and here's some inspiration I found in town.. it not only looks good at night, also when you walk by sometime when the sun is in the sky...
Another way to make it a lovely thing being at home is, having flowers which smell very sweet and good... and when you put them in different vases...
So, flowers are one kind of decoration I admire most like you see and I recommend them deeply....
Simple, to say there is no need of many....
Or try this one..... it's arty... and a simple autumn/ fall feeling home...




See books like this and you have something to look at and your guest will always find it interesting being at you ;-)
So my readers this blog is very simple and just to remind you, that maybe to enjoy yourself is more easy then you thought....
There are no rules of how to do it, just try it and find what you like most and fits you.... It's your home, your place so give 'em a note...

A New Year is come, the old is done...

I am so grateful of having attracting so many good thinks into my live...

That I had so much joy and so much to learn in 2011...

...and you... what did you took this year into your home?

Was it good? Was it something to learn? Did you all you planed?

If not so now a new year is always a new chance...

I for myself will go on with my journeys to other places in the world... meeting new people and getting new friends and ideas and experiences...

...and start again things I lost and did not do the last years... like going on with things I started again this year, like dancing... having more fun with friends... keeping an eye on my friends...

Like doing some wellness... relaxing more often and not if I am nearby to break down...

Guess most of us should remember to make a break, to take a deep breath...

We are much to often just talkin' about it.. and much to often we only look at the bad things and all the bad luck, but there is always a chance to remember the good one... Let's try to do..

Let's try to give up all those too many hours on the work...

We work to live not the other way 'round...

Oh, I am so grateful and thank myself for having such good friends and such a beautiful family around... and I will try to do my best to make it last longer, getting stronger and better and hope that they will have the feeling, that they can trust me, count on me, ask me for help and do give me advise if so they think or I ask... and yes I hope they know I love them... and yes I will say once again to all of them and to you my dear readers.. thank you for being part of my live...

I do see a lot of hope for so many things... and yes I think we will have a bit of a big chaos in the world but I am so joyful when I think of next year... can't remember when I last thought the next year is coming.. yeah..happy, happy.... this year will be much more than 2011... things are in change, still a lot to learn, still a lot to do, but oh I am so exiting to come forward... I will try to be part of the journey who tries to make this world a better place....

Just now I do remember "The earth song" from Michael Jackson, "Imagine" from John Lennon or "Love makes the world go round" from Madonna.... or "Only Love" from K.D. Lang....

I plane to start the next year with giving free HUGS on the 7. January next to the meeting of the Occuby demonstration in Berlin, which still is going on every saturday...

'Cos giving free Love should be something normal, but

we forgot.... many forgot this...

and yes human dignity is inviolable ... we should definitely bring this back to mind....

So ... wish you a happy new year and a fantastic live... and remember words become true...

I have a dream

Christmas time is near my dear readers, what does this mean to you?

Will you hide or run away, fly or travel away...?

Or will you do nothing but rest yourself or once again blame yourself being on a place you don't want to be?

Do we have to be religious to celebrate Christmas, to like it? Are Christians the only one to be allowed to only celebrate the time? Well I come from a country where most people where not religious at all. Only 20% where part of a religious family. But the most of us did celebrate Christmas and knew the reason why there was this celebration.

............................................................of course we loved the presents, the Christmas tree and all the songs. To eat good and come together with the family or parts of them. To not work or go to school. But at least, it always was a time to stop our running in everyday live..... It always was a time to think about the year which is to start to come to end. We always where talkin' about family stuff and politics and the job and what we've been through and learned and what we've earned and what we wish for next year.

To talk with your family about the year, I think is very important. And yes, no matter how your family looks like, these people are those who you trust and after all they often give you the best advises.

.......I know there are people who don't celebrate Christmas.
I know some do it, because they are just and simple alone. Others don't like Christmas of different reasons. And then we have all those who don't celebrate this time because the religious they are part of don't have this in content. But I invite them all to use this time to think, to dream, to talk, to meet... to love and laugh. Don't try to stay home alone if you can, this is so sad and you can always find someone to share your time with. But this means to look out and see to find the right people. Not the first best is the best man. But maybe the second one you meet.
Oh, and remember... there is no need for stressing :-)

the thing with the Ideal

Today i'm gonna write about the Ideal of beauty...

The Ideal of beauty of man... how a human being should look like...

Well, somehow the thinkin' about this thing has changed in the last 100 years in a way I am not sure if it is really good.

To go straight to the goal...

today the most think they should look like the ideal. The most seem to think they have to do everything to look like the ideal... well once people understood that an ideal is unreachable...

but today everyone seems to think that it is actually possible with all the plastic surgery and beauty products.

Well, people in the past knew that an ideal was something which shows the times idea of what is beauty and what do they think is the ideal...

They knew it was not to reach and never thought about reaching it, because it was an ideal, just an idea, just a thing which comes out of a discussion, of a meeting of painters, philosophers and thinkers. It has nothing to do with the reality. They knew that and so the Ideal changes in time. Think about Rubens, Michelangelo, the beauty of the plastic David, or the things we found of the stone age... all different, all just ideas of what is the ideal but never what you have to be. Yes they tried to be beauty and did a lot to make them self nice, but it was kind of buy nice clothes, have nice jewelry and show the inside out... the inner beauty of a man, of yourself... how much money you have, how much good you are in bed and kinda like this.

But today, we not only have one ideal, it also changes quickly and we have for everything an ideal.. like Barbie, Models like Heidi Klum or Naomi, for each fetish group the ideal fetish guy or girl... or some kinda star seems to be it... an ideal for black people, white or asian...

Isn't it confusing? And why do so many try to be like it? We'll never will look like a Barbie, how much you try, it is not possible.. but why should you... ?! You have a beauty...inside and outside, it's just to find it and bring it out and show it... no matter what the ideal is, because the ideal is just an idea, nothing we will ever be..just remember that....

At my work I meet a lot of people and I always find some beauty and if it's just a hidden beauty.. I see it. I think we all should learn again to see it.

Look in the face of someone, or search for some nice details in the hands or other parts of the body or how a man moves... or is it the smile or a blink of an eye... or maybe the strand of hair that swirls itself.

If you try this, you always can see some beauty, no matter if it is a child, a father, an old lady or the foreign and strange stranger next to you... and when you'll find it... smile.. just smile....
