GIA- a movie

GIA is one of the first movies Angelina Jolie made and she plays the first super model of the modern times. It's quite a story how this girl made it to the top just by being herself, but also how she went on on the top, never to be alone but never to be loved the way she wanted. She never cared- so it seems- about sexuality and was fighting for a lot in her life. Like it was, it also was a time of disco and drugs and so she fell, no matter how much she tried. She was trying to get hold, but then their was this disease and so she fell another time. A very short time of fame and all in all she had a very short life. Died so young, that it is a pity but that time people did not know much about HIV and AIDS. 
The movie shows respect to her but also the world that was and much alike still is if we think about it. 
Based on the writing she did in her diary and what people around her have told about her became this movie a statement of her live.
Angelina Jolie plays her so well, like she vanished in her role and as Angelina self was modeling, she knew the game and also as we know, she plays without fear in any way. 
All the fun, the heartache, the naked truth, the body, the mind.... 
Not a single boring minute in a movie about a model.
Even know how it ends, you'll cry. 
I could not imagine an other actress to play that part and A. Jolie plays it very well. 
The camera work is pure and good work, although nothing very special but catches everything you need to. The storytelling is consequent and straight. Easy to follow and makes sense and seems not to left out any important thing.
This is a movie I can absolutely recommend.
