Are you feminist?

                                  

I never thought about that until a doctor asked me that at work.  In Sweden it is not such a strange thing that men call themselves feminist. 

And while I just thought about equality for the LGBTIQ community, it came again to my mind that this is also something we deal with on and on. 

But what is a feminist nowadays? It sure is not only a woman fighting aggressive for her rights. It’s not only fighting for being part of the congress, getting the laws changed and fighting together as black and white.

It has become more. Women fight loud but also in silence and they fight on different places. Now it’s education, family times and still family planning or also called Planned Parenthood.  They also fight for same wage as this is still unbelievable unfair and women now have understood that they have to demand men to fight with them, to understand deep inside that what they seek is right and has to make into reality.

You know it is unbelievable that we after 100 years since the women started to fight for equality have not come that far.  Why is it so hard to achieve success? Is it that we went more silent after the 80tis? Is it that young women have to discover feminist for themselves and make it their own thing? Find new ways and remember that being loud is still necessary. 

So a man fighting along side by side with a woman is a feminist?

Thought as far as I remember what I have read, most of those men still are very much living the cliché and those 50/50 thing is more a which, than reality, in everyday life and also those men pay women less than for a man.  Women are many times o.k. with this, or believe it just is that way or even more it has to be, thought they should know better.  But yes, we have still also those women who truly believe a woman has to be home, make children and her husband has to bring home the money. They believe women should not have extra rights- and this is the problem! It’s not about extra rights it’s about to get the same rights, to have the same possibilities and choices.  Sure in many ways men and women are different, but that does not mean they are weaker, or less worth, or should have less rights as they can be smart the same as men and work hard as a man and even feel. They can make decisions and those without being victims of hormones. Many forget that men have also hormones, which makes them act stupid.

And why is it still a problem to live out sexuality as women? Why is it still for men and women a problem if a woman gets a divorce, but not when the man does? That’s bigotry and lying to yourself about what and who we are. 

But back to men who are called feminist. They are no less man of course, thought many would like to call them so. They fight for women rights; sometimes they just call it a fight for equality. And without men the revolution will not succeed in the end. We always need both sides.  And also those men who just fight and are into equality. Like myself, a man who does not call themselves a feminist.

But let’s be true, we do to less and women also stand in their own way. We have to try harder but how can we make others understand that the time is now, not tomorrow as it can be too late then or even harder to achieve things. As this is a question of power, of money and who will lead the world. It is a question of peace and war and where we put each other. It is a question of respect and empathy.  Things the new generation of feminist have to understand and some already work that way. The older generation is looking back and into the future and will hope that we go on fighting as they see how hard it still is, how unequal we act and how hard some groups fight to get women back into the dark age again. So we have to talk, to teach and be visible.

May you call yourself a feminist or not, but start discussing what went wrong, to know our history and what should we do and how can we prepare our children to not do the same mistakes or act the same unequal way. Yes, it starts with how we teach them, how uncles, mothers and grandparents act and all those other folks. Only together we will make it better as it is not enough when just parents make it right. 

Let's think about it with Love & Light

Yes, it is October the 15. and the day to wear purple in the rain or even sunshine as this is the day to show to other people that you are against bullying. 

Just a couple of years ago this idea grow out of the fact that we still have to deal wit death caused of being bullied. Yes, still people kill them self because some people treat you bad or take you as a walking joke. 

To be true, those people know mostly very well what they do to you but ignore that you are human and have fun or do it to have fun and feel stronger, bigger or show of power. 

Bullying has many faces and many times you are not seeing it clear, many are not even aware that you are a victim of such a try. 

So let's take a deeper look on how bullying can be.

First the very obvious. You can already experience this in Kindergarten. There is this boy or girl, looking not exactly what others do and some start to make jokes on you, call you names and sometimes also beat you up, sometimes more, sometimes less and unseen for others, when you are standing alone in the corner. They steel your clothes, bags or put them in unreachable places, they look you in the toilet or leave you with a mark which made you look like a stupid one. 

Another is to stalk you or treat you over Facebook and catch you just in front of your door at home and tell you, you are worthless and get a punch if you do this or that. They don't want you to feel strong, be good or make things right and eat your fear and loves you unsure and feeling weak. But some also go a step further and burn your house or car or throw things at you. 

Bullying is not only to make a joke, it is treating you bad and sometimes to death.

Most who are the reason why people feel sick and weak are in no way aware of the impact this all has on a personality of the victim. How much they can destroy a happy life with just a few words. They believe being harmless because it is just a joke but inside they know it is always more, it's the which to harm and do bad things without calling it that way, as most people will not see it that way or just say exactly the same like those who do you harm and if some victim stand up they first laugh at you and try to put you down until they fight back and show them how much it can hurt but many are to afraid and many have already understood they would not be better then those who inflict the pain.

So this day is also a chance to talk to others when to stop and to be more aware that doing so is not a sign of being stronger, better or powerful. It's the other way 'round!

Also bullying is not to find just in school, Kindergarten or working place, it is also very common in politic and private life. Sadly, less people call it what it is and most people are very unsure when does such thing start to be what we call bullying. When is it just a joke, when not and how do I know if this will hurt? 

Of course first of all it is the victim who tells you the border. But then you can be smart enough and take to empathy; then you'll know very clear when to stop. It is also the indent of why you make a joke. Is it showing of, or show a mistake? Is it to harm or to remember? If you call someone names, why do you do it and what names are you calling?

And it should be clear that giving out a false statement and false information about another person to inflict some action or because you don't like the other one or you want to put yourself in a better position, that this is bullying. A very common thing colleagues do. Telling things which are not true or they know they are most likely untrue. It's a pity that they do as they weaken the position and make things harder to change.  But some do as they are not happy with their own situation, but instead of being true they go that way and I hope in this case that life will show them this is wrong. 

It is also bullying to deny others people right because you feel unsure or have not a clue or just a bad feeling. And we know people still do because of your skin color, gender, sexuality or because you are disabled. They believe you are weak or want you to be. 

But what can we do to stop this? 

Of course talk and write about that problems. Wear purple to give the possibility to other people to talk to you and a chance to change or find a way out of their situation as many victims have to learn to change the way they think about them self and how others look at them. The change of habits and believes are the most successful way to get rid of those  who hurt you as you let yourself be hurt and the more negative you are, the more weak you let yourself be, the more you will stay or be a victim. You can change the situation by thinking positive of yourself and find good things about you and for you. It may take time but at the end, just remember you are stronger then them because they have the need to act that way to feel stronger but they will let go if you are visibly stronger as them and if its just having a strong back again. Look out for friends who think as yourself or better who have the same interest. It's not about changing them, it's to change yourself and then they will do or just leave you alone. 

You know I am hard of hearing and people assume that I am stupid or not good at work and some try to talk behind me and tell I am weak, not right and so on, but I never cared about that and after years I always experience the same, that after a while some people tell me what they did believe but are happy now that they have changed their mind. That's the way I do, let them get their own picture of me and make own conclusions and if they like it or not is their problem. My decision is my reaction to what they do. And before I react to fast I take time to think and let things come down and I try to see thinks from different sides.  

So now... go out, wear purple, talk and look out for situations which are clear to make a stop and show your courage.

The mechanic horse

Europa is very much like this mechanic horse which is standing in Berlin at the central station as an art sculpture. It once was functional and moving but with time it went slow and people then forget to repair it to make it go on and so it is now standing still and not moving anymore.

This sculpture has many faces, sad and lucky which once use to change and now you only see the sad face. Irony it is when I think, it matches Europe very well.

Europe once started as an idea and then became reality and became bigger but like the horse which was once an idea and became reality and bigger, people forget that all things must be cherished. Like your home where you have to clean and wash and throw away and buy new, where you have to paint the wall once in a while and look out for the technic to stay functional.

Yes, very much like with this horse it was nice and good in the beginning even thought, there have been always those who warned about the future of it and question the horse itself and its reason.

So Europe, a bunch of countries who should be a strong community when it is about money, politics and peace became a reality which looks different now as many forgot they have to work together and really cherish for the mechanics inside. All technic has to work as each part is important to make the whole functional. Now we hear a lot of screaming, squeezing and loud noises which do not sound that good. It is because far to many of the actors in this spectacle have forgotten that they should have done some research earlier and had to talk to each other more truthful.

But this crisis is a good thing as it make us remember that things can only get better, if we all act in the same manner. But what manner is right? Here we have some ugly facts. Some want the money, the power but not the work.

To not tell this, the loudest voice is always to hear from those who want you to overlook their miss. Stay blind to the fact that there is no turning back is what we experience in many ways. The propaganda play is on in every country and making it all look as it is the others fault. The bashing against Brussels is always on as long it does not seem so good what was made as a new rule, even though each member said yes. Was it your idea it is always a good Brussels but if not this town and the house of politic is always to big, to slow to stupid and to many rules we don't understand. The truth is, it is not that big if you look how big your countries bureaucracy is and how many members per inhabitant they have. Much more. Much, much more and even less outcome and worse. But yes Brussels has a problem to communicate it's politic and this is the fault of our own politics.

Yes, so many countries are not easy to get on line but it is possible if only all of them want the same. But as I mentioned, some only wants the money but not the responsibility. So lies are what you read and hear from them. Most don't say it aloud but they do think the problems of others have nothing to do with them, even thought they should know better as each bigger problem is a problem for all European. But to see this fact you have to have your eyes open and to admit that some countries came in with a situation well known as not so good. But we wanted to stay blind. 

Now after Greece  and Charlie H. we stand in front of another challenge. They say it is one of the biggest crisis with migrants we ever had, even though we already know from newspapers and Facebook and other sides and ways that this is not exactly true. It is sure a very big crisis for the European Union. As it shows where we really stand and that you can't stay away from making things work and go on. You see now that the technic has not been looking after for far to long and people seems to wonder how could this happen, even know they know how but choose to forget. 

That many eastern countries don't want migrants into their countries, is not really new. But now we face the fact as we must find a way all together to deal with this big amount of refugees who come along. 

Did we not expect that their would come more? Did we really thought those 300 in spring would be all to come? We had sure hoped for but knew already that this is just the vanguard. Will come more? Yes, we have to see it like that, as the situation is just a following step of what is already going on the last four and five years. Those refugees are coming from several countries and in some you find war going on and on and  in other to live is to stay poor all your life or having not a real chance to become a better future. In some we have not at all democracy going on and in some religious has made life horrible for a bunch of groups. So yes of course they do come as they heard from a better life in Europe as we heard from a better life in the USA once. But we still sell weapons, we still want cheap cloths and things and those are the main reason, why people have to flee. So this is also the price we have to pay. How come then all is so dramatic? 

Europe made some laws who made this all grow up. Once it was forbidden to fly- so they took the more dangerous ways. Once we had a wall who made it impossible to come buy boat and people got to die in the sea and no one knew as we did not tell and show. Once we made a rule that you only can seek for a permanent stay in the country you first arrived and so the ol' Europe had nothing to fear as flying was forbidden. 

Now the war is still going on and the winter is on the way and the camps got less money and hope is fading. 

But in all countries we made big mistakes how we used to deal with those who came. Actually most have laws which are enough to make a fair deal and work and to clear a situation, but in all countries it takes and took far to long the process of bureaucracy. Then we put the people on places their were not allowed to leave until they have been allowed and got the papers. What to do such a long time? Then even if they have come through and are allowed to stay and study and search for work- what should one do, if you have the qualification, but no one wants to take you as they are afraid and have other reasons. What if there is no work in that area but you can't move because you have no money? It is true, most refugees have a quite good education as most of them are from the middle class. The poor can't afford it, the rich don't need to flee. 

But if you can't go home or move back to your home country, what will you do? If then a system pays you enough to stay alive and you can't find a job? You will give up mostly and let the country pay and who gets upset about that? Of course those who live and work and pay the taxes. 

And if they also claim that those foreigners get more money that their own people then I have to say it is mostly not that way but in some countries and some situation it is. But who's fault is it? Theirs? No!

But those refugees are open to any job and so they are in fact and if just only as a feeling a danger to the jobs of the little man. And even you don't have to pay them as much as your own people, who's fault is it when they get a job they are more then qualified for and not you?

And then- The children. More and more children are sent. A very typical thing when the tsunami of refugees are on. ( and it is on and no one can hold it back now as it is far to late..) It is and always was the same thought. A child can grow and get money back to family and will try to help the rest of the family to come after. A child is the most worth thing and has the biggest chance to survive the race of life. In all the last waves, children have been taken and care for and also become victims of crime and drama. Just remember all those stories we have read from children from 1800hundred to first world war and then second and then on and on. 

So what and why is it such a big crisis now? Nothing in this is new and the amount of humans are not nearly of the number of refugees we already had traveling round the world. 

It is all the mistakes, the lies and the ignorance of the history. It is the typical acting when you became someone, you don't want another one to be part of it as you have the fear it could be taken away from you as it has happened before. 

It is because of all the mistakes we already have done and therefore we see that things are not that simple and can lead to problems. Some of these problems are called crime. But here we have another mistake- the number of crimes we hear is not the real truth. The statistics lie and papers lie when they only take part of the statistic to have a dramatic line. Even it is a lie not to tell what kind of crimes those are. So people assume that refugees are doing big crimes if you let them in as you read about killing and fighting on the streets. That your own people do the same and more often- you read not or seldom. 

So stories people hear and maybe also see by themself are becoming the whole truth and that means- I don't want them here. They only are loud, dirty and don't care about us and where they live. 

Problem is, no argument will then help to make them think twice. I had such discussion and am not saying it is not happening but it is always a small group of people who make problems and do the crime. Never the majority. 

But the majority was in silence to long too. To differ is something many people do not. Most people like to have it black and white but the reality is never simple like that. The wars we have going on are a history which started around 1800. Just let this fact sink and then that we, the ol' Europe are those who made it start. We still have not lost our arrogance against those countries. But we should learn that they have been better then we used to call them. 

Now this crisis also seems so big as we deal with fear and the fact that fascist minded people use the words of the middle class and from the middle of the politics. People started to get in trouble when they called out their doubt and fell into a forbidden area. Suddenly it started to be not allowed to tell how you feel and thing. But we must be able to ask, what do we do with all those new people here? Who is paying for all of this and how do we get them into work? Why do we put them somewhere in the country where there is not a big chance of a job and how do we deal in our towns with them as most of them of course search for a stay in town as we all know the saying that there are the jobs? What will happen to these people when they meet the enemy they fight at home here? And why is it a forbidden thought to ask that those people have to take and be aware of our way of living and rules? Why do politics still say another religious is part of our countries history if it is not that way? Yes, those people have potential we need and we have to make a plan and give money for making it work and also we must be able to tell them you are welcome but remember we expect you to live after our ways. We respect your past but this past won't be part here anymore- not in the same way. That was never the case in the past, why should it be now? It is therefore also a crisis because we have no plan, no idea how to deal with them. To give applause and say on demonstration- you are welcome- and spend some clothes can only be a beginning. 

Now we have no time to waste and must immediately make up a master plan. But alas politic is acting far too slow and still we discuss how many we can let in?! 

I worry, if we don't keep on and push our government to do the right things, we come into another crisis and bigger problems and then some bad preconceptions could come true. 

In that case as much as I find it positive that my people have open arms, they also are blind to the facts of reality and the times after the five minutes arrival. 

If our country has to less people to deal with those as we avoid spending money, the situation will soon get worse and be more complicated as it already is. 

That only will help the fascist minded.

Rescue me

...your love has given me hope. A line from a song and something we'll hope some people will be open for love as they just now act in hate and intolerance. The fight against foreign people in many countries has become very obvious and dangerous as it is the play with a fascist mind and game and the come back of right wings and fascists. It is a scary time but still there is hope. 

But how come a mob of screaming people standing on the street fighting police, humans and their own worth and smash fire bombs into houses of living people? How come they lost empathy with those who need help and search hope? How come that many of those ignore the fact that each culture is made of all of us and could not be if we only have been alone. How come they even ignore they got help them self? 

Some answer can be made. We believe if we know little. We believe easy then and in the same times you get filled with lies, which you believe easy as you know too little. And if the person who lies to you should know better, because they have been on the place- you believe the wrong things with no question, because you know too little. 

But how can a big number of people make such stupid things as killing people, hating people without a true reason? How can they feel so strong? 

Here I can give you some lines out of a book I have read: Remember when you have been in the circus? Children- remember when you have been there as a child, then you'll remember how all of you screamed and did laugh. But not because what is happening in front of them or because they all like it so much, it's because you have been sitting with hundreds of others in the same place, who have been also children. Nobody who will tell them what to like, to do and think. You all felt how you ruled the world. 

So, are they enough people together, with the same feeling, you will believe and convince everything.

And then there is this fact. Even when you start something new, already in the beginning are those who are against it and they will do what they can to fight you. In every system lies the fall. And as long some groups are seeking for advantages and power, you'll have to keep them in mind and sight. But every time humans  forgot and seems to be surprised. A total change can only come, if you really change 100% of everything and not e.g. let people from the old system who killed others, work on the same place in the new system. 

Of course I am aware that with those thoughts I will barely change the world but maybe more people will start keep these things in mind. For the time after the next change. 

Just now we have to make clear that we want another future and yes world peace and the end of war and the end of lies and so on... so go on, be visible on the streets, on Facebook, Twitter and so on and be open minded. 
And can't we live in peace like the bees? ;-)

A.I.D.S.

Another monday and the sun is shining outside while I am sitting in the kitchen, having my late morning coffee and finished the trilogy Jonas Gardell (-Never dry tears without gloves-) has written about AIDS in Sweden from the beginning till 2000. A chronicle which tells us about how people got to know about that thing called AIDS and HIV. A story about what had happen in the beginning and what came after. Döden/ Dead is the title of the last book and still dead is part of the way. But as it is it is part of each and everyones way. Thought the danger has become more easy to deal with. As we now have high standard of medicine but what is the price? 

A.I.D.S- that was the first after a long time people got to know about a new disease in the 1980tis. And yes that was the way we wrote it then as it was a complex of symptoms which in the end lead to the breakdown of your immune system and so you could die of every disease. As it was that time, most had cancer, pneumonia and/ or dementia. But many had other symptoms and got ill from everything you can get ill. So nobody really knew in the beginning but people as often were fast in making fear go round. And as it was the focus was on homosexual people, thought the first who became sick of that were also heterosexual and women. But people see what they want to see, so this thing called A.I.D.S. was a treat to homosexual man and was often called the price they had to pay for living in sin. Still many people think it is that way and still we make a difference how you come to the point. Still like you can read in the book (and see in the films withe the same name) they are the ones who are more worth to be pity and those who are just ones to have to shame themself.  Although most of them don't want to be pity. 
Since 1983 it has been a long time and people are no longer that much unknown about what this thing called A.I.D.S. is but then came those letters--> HIV. Yes having a virus inside you is not the same as having AIDS. One is the last walk you take and HIV is to be a bearer of a virus. You no longer can see it on people as medicine has become better but the dream of a vaccine still lives on as it is a fact, there is no one. You can try to fight with taking your pills every day and try to survive but no one knows when you have won, if you ever can win. So dead is still nearer at the end of the street as for the common people. But after all you survive more then the two years you had back then. Isn't that good? If people just would finally learn the facts and overcome their fear. The fear they have learned and passed. The lies which were spread back then are still working. 
So no wonder the rate of new infection not only goes up because of a better therapy as it no longer seem to be a danger of sudden dead, but also the rate of young people who should know better but never had to see the dead. The use of condoms have risen but not enough and as it was mostly the homosexual who had to deal with it most, now finally the heterosexual have beaten the number of new infection with the HI-Virus. Especially young people are in danger now. But to be true this is just happening in the western world. 
How now? Well, in Africa and Asia the numbers have from the beginning included all. It's the western world who tries to deny year after year that this virus never chooses only the gay. This lie of never being a victim when you are heterosexual, they try since years to put in the head of people in Africa and Asian- the result is that they do not have the save sex if they could. But we here in the West can and should. 
Start with talking about it! When young people become adults they become sexual available if you like it or not. So we should teach them to ask before having sex. But the challenge is that we have those  conservatives who claim to protect their children because inside their have failed with their own way of dealing with being a sexual human. So their try to put their regressed sexual living into their children. And they should know better as lies and prohibitions lead to exact what they don't want--> putting young people in danger.

But back to today. How many people, above from the stars, do you know who are HIV positive or have Aids or have died of AIDS? How many people are talking openly about having an HIV Test to know where they stand? Have you ever tested yourself? 
We have those posters where HIV positive stand, smile and say they live an open life and friends and family and maybe also colleagues stand behind them but how many do you know actually does?
I know some. Happy and very nice people. You would never guess they have it. Being strong and smile and go to work as everyone else. Just, they have to take everyday the pills and check themself three, four times a year. Just they never know how long time they have till the end as still they know they won't live out till the -I am to old to live another day- phase. But no one knows and so it could be possible to be old, very old at the end. But what price do they have to pay? It's a chemical mix of pills they take. No one knows how long this will be good and when it starts to destroy the body. Not to mention most of the HIV positive can't come out because they would lose they job, many friends, many times also members of family or will be pushed away from all of the family. Even nurses fear colleagues while they should know better, they still have more fear then most of all the others. Funny because there are nurses who are positive- and I know some of them, but as we just now see the beginning of coming out to have diabetes, it will take a couple of years maybe, I guess, until no one in this area will fear no longer, even known those nurses should not, as they are the professionals.
So taking the step out of the shadow means to take the risk of being alone, fighting once more and above all, it means to take the harder way when it is about having a living for money/ a job. You will be free too, as hiding is taking energy you need for surviving. 
Once you knew you would die soon. Now you know you can do it sometimes in the future, but when- no fucking idea. It changes your live completely and in the same time not that much. Tricky. Once they hated you, now they still do but in another way in many parts of the world. Saying it, is also saying you are sexual and that leads people to the most learned fear of our century- the fear of being a sexual human as this is a sin. Thanks to the damn church no matter what religion. 
To make SEX a thing of the devil was the biggest lie they successful sent into the world. 
The seed of hate.
Sight.
That's what I think about when I sit in the kitchen, writing you a letter while the sun goes down. 
But there is hope as people can and do learn. 
But there will be a time we all die.
But there is always a shadow behind.
And the sun will always shine again as long human kind will be on earth. 
Stupidity is no longer an excuse.
The time for hiding is over.
The time for not choosing a side is over.
The time for cowards is over.
It's time to take the next step and get over the past as we are still living far to much in the past and so fear will blind us. 
Have trust. Shake a hand from a positive man and women, child and well human. They may be HIV positive and also positive in their attitude as we know better now.
You'r friend, your lover, your girlfriend, your mother, your brother will be the same- with or without a virus inside. Hug them, kiss them and eat with them, sleep and cuddle. And remember it is much safer to live in truth then to live in lie.

Let's talk about Cancer

Let's talk about cancer as it is the month of breast cancer. 

Breast cancer is one of the most cancer forms at women, but men can get it too. 

Well, today we gotta talk about more then breast cancer, because cancer is one of the most common diseases we know in the western world. It is seldom that you won't know someone who has it or had it, no matter how lucky they were in the end. 

Cancer is also called the king of all diseases. This meaning is to take for a much bigger picture you should have when you talk about this illness. The bigger picture includes the pharmacy, the doctors, the family, the economic, the image one gets and so on... For many people cancer is hell and one of the worst things in life and for others this is pure joy and happiness. It is therefore clear that the happy part is more to find on the science side and the pharmacy industry. The big "C" is almost mad of fear. Fear is leading the information the most gets about cancer. Fear is what most have when they think about it. We fear to get it, to have it and to die from it. This is a politic the pharamcy has driven very well the last 50 till 60 years. It helps to rais mony, it helps to make people make speeding up in their decisions as this means mostly that they don't take the time to think about what is the best treatment to their own cancer form. Fear leads also to the point that most ignore as long as they can the danger some things include. In our everyday live we are used to many things and we know much more often that we should better not ignore when something is bad for our health. Starting with our food, then go on with our drugs, but then again all the chemical things we surround us with, all the dangerous stuff in the earth or nearby or at work. 

In that case isn't it interessting that the pharmaceutical industry and politic has easy to connect things to cancer but when it comes to pay for it, then they try everything to tell us, that it was not because of them and the way they treated us. 

But how can this fight be so heard to get justice? It is just because we don't really kow everything about the reason why we get cancer and why not. Most of us surely know that smoking can lead to cancer, even snus -the scandinavian version of taking tabac-. Mostly we don't like to think that it is more then that. Because it is also what you eat, how you work and liv, how you think, what you drink and what your gene tells you. But surely we have to discover a lot more. So money is needed they say and I say I am not that sure for the med is expencive and the pharmaceutical lobby has got more then much money to fight cancer but wait, after all the years their must be some success and there is but not that much as it could be although it should be because if you start searching the internet and going deeper into the world of cancer you will discover that many treats are hidden. Meaning, we could help more and better if the pharmaceutical industry and the doctors would not prefer money. Sadly this is very true as I hear and see it again and again and here we come back to just breast cancer. 

Oh what the doctor will tell you can be much you have to go through but do you need it? 

Here we are! Far to less people ask an other doctor for advise. Far to many ask a thirth one. But you should and of course never tell them what the other said. You should and will be therfore surprised how different the advises are. It actually does not need to be a most radical cure. It can be saver, better, smaller. Including the alternative medicine. Actually science shows since years that one treatment in time after the next is better then all together. Mostly and operation will be part of it when it is about breast cancer. Then comes the well know chemo but some may tell you that a radiotherapy must be done to which is as far as I know since the '90tees not helping more or making it better. 

As for the other cancer forms it should be clear said that an operation is not always the best way or the only opinion. But be sure if you feel like that, take a look at the alternative medicine too. Not as the only cure but as something to strongen your body. A mix of both, the western way and eastern way of cure is mostly to recommend. Because a therapy is always a fight, a heavy thing and you need something which helps your body and soul to recover. Here the "alternative" medicine is very helpful as it also includes meditation and other simple tings. Give it a try if you can.

Now I am pretty sure you will be confused. That is o.k. and the leading rule in cancer is above all: take your time to get to know the treats and then decide from inside yourself, from your heart, yes shut the mind and feel. This way it is always the right one and no one can tell you better then you yourself. Whatever way you choose, no one has the right to blame you for something. And as for the reason why you've got it is the best advise to let this go and wonder where you've got it because the part of the body which got it says something about the theme you should work with. And yes after all the helping hands you will get, you can help yourself most by being positive and find things to laugh about and work with yourself- work it out -meaning this: look at yourself, what are the so called weak parts and actions, your fears and so on... change the attitude and the way you look on things and after all take your time. You may feel god after the first therapy and your body may seems alright again, your soul will mostly need a longer time and actually your body too. No one can say how long you should take your time to recover but as I experienced far to often, many go back to work and doing things to early. 

And there is another thing. Life does not necessarily change in a big way. Mostly it will go on as before and therefore it is important to keep going on with the things you want and need to change. This can take more time then you ever thought of. 

But how to avoid getting cancer? Can you avoid it. Can you take the walk around it and stay healthy? Actually there is no guaranty. But you can try to live healthy and remember what you have learned and read, but also you can go to all the checkups. And take a look at yourself once in a while. Touch your breast and feel after changes. Test your armpits and feel your lymph. Have they become bigger, harder? Test your testicle while you shower. Do you feel something different as before? Know that cancer is typical here for young men and you don't have to be 40 or 50 or older.  Go to the Colonoscopy and  watch your hole skin top to bottom. Let friends help you to check your back if you can't watch it self. 
You see, there are many things you can do and hope of course is never wrong and always to remember to liv your life as much the way you want it. 
Life is not about how long you live, it is about what you do and the way you do.

Because after all no cancer form has really an age limit.

Grabbers- a movie

Today I will talk about an Irish movie. 
It's a quite typical but typical Irish movie.
The genre is not exactly clear to name it. 
But the story is lovely and funny and here is what it is about:
Aliens are arriving on an Irish island and people are disappearing. 
Dead wales will be found and a fisherman catches something he can't explain.
A bizarre thing is going to frighten the islander. 
What can they do? A storm is coming up and no help in sight.
Getting drunk and hope for the best. 
YES that's it and so the fight starts. They get drunk and keep together and find out how to deal with the beast in a heavy rainy night. 
This movie is a funny movie, much like a mix of Aliens, Gremlins and Harry Potter -a- like. A classic action comedy with aliens and Irish humor. A monster movie who has it all. Romance, drunk people, rain, danger and actors who play very lovely. 
Richard Coyle (Prince of Percia/ Coupling) and the charming Ruth Bradley are playing the top of a gang of people who are going to save mankind from getting eaten of bloody Aliens. Russell Tovey (Known from Dr. Who/ Humans) and actors like Ned Dennehy (Sherlock Holmes) and many more are giving this fun the color to enjoy the dark humor and with the director John Wright (Tormented) the idea of defending with alcohol becomes best reality. 
The animations are very good made ( -Harry Potter- is in the background of the guys who made the animation) and here's also why I told in the beginning that you will be remembered of t.ex. Gremlins, because some scene in the film seems to taken out of Gremlins, only with Aliens babies are doing the same things. Kind of- but watch the movie and you'll understand. 
The landscape is very beautiful taken with the cameras and the places well chosen. You can catch a very good feeling for the country, though it is just from the countryside. 
The storyline is slowly growing and very classic like it has to be in a horror movie- by the way with the typical finish- like in "Aliens". 
And... finally it shows that Aliens can also land in another country then the USA. 
So this little horror movie, with romance and some laughter for you (dry Irish humor) is my recommendation for today. It is the right day to sit down and follow.
