Are you feminist?

                                  

I never thought about that until a doctor asked me that at work.  In Sweden it is not such a strange thing that men call themselves feminist. 

And while I just thought about equality for the LGBTIQ community, it came again to my mind that this is also something we deal with on and on. 

But what is a feminist nowadays? It sure is not only a woman fighting aggressive for her rights. It’s not only fighting for being part of the congress, getting the laws changed and fighting together as black and white.

It has become more. Women fight loud but also in silence and they fight on different places. Now it’s education, family times and still family planning or also called Planned Parenthood.  They also fight for same wage as this is still unbelievable unfair and women now have understood that they have to demand men to fight with them, to understand deep inside that what they seek is right and has to make into reality.

You know it is unbelievable that we after 100 years since the women started to fight for equality have not come that far.  Why is it so hard to achieve success? Is it that we went more silent after the 80tis? Is it that young women have to discover feminist for themselves and make it their own thing? Find new ways and remember that being loud is still necessary. 

So a man fighting along side by side with a woman is a feminist?

Thought as far as I remember what I have read, most of those men still are very much living the cliché and those 50/50 thing is more a which, than reality, in everyday life and also those men pay women less than for a man.  Women are many times o.k. with this, or believe it just is that way or even more it has to be, thought they should know better.  But yes, we have still also those women who truly believe a woman has to be home, make children and her husband has to bring home the money. They believe women should not have extra rights- and this is the problem! It’s not about extra rights it’s about to get the same rights, to have the same possibilities and choices.  Sure in many ways men and women are different, but that does not mean they are weaker, or less worth, or should have less rights as they can be smart the same as men and work hard as a man and even feel. They can make decisions and those without being victims of hormones. Many forget that men have also hormones, which makes them act stupid.

And why is it still a problem to live out sexuality as women? Why is it still for men and women a problem if a woman gets a divorce, but not when the man does? That’s bigotry and lying to yourself about what and who we are. 

But back to men who are called feminist. They are no less man of course, thought many would like to call them so. They fight for women rights; sometimes they just call it a fight for equality. And without men the revolution will not succeed in the end. We always need both sides.  And also those men who just fight and are into equality. Like myself, a man who does not call themselves a feminist.

But let’s be true, we do to less and women also stand in their own way. We have to try harder but how can we make others understand that the time is now, not tomorrow as it can be too late then or even harder to achieve things. As this is a question of power, of money and who will lead the world. It is a question of peace and war and where we put each other. It is a question of respect and empathy.  Things the new generation of feminist have to understand and some already work that way. The older generation is looking back and into the future and will hope that we go on fighting as they see how hard it still is, how unequal we act and how hard some groups fight to get women back into the dark age again. So we have to talk, to teach and be visible.

May you call yourself a feminist or not, but start discussing what went wrong, to know our history and what should we do and how can we prepare our children to not do the same mistakes or act the same unequal way. Yes, it starts with how we teach them, how uncles, mothers and grandparents act and all those other folks. Only together we will make it better as it is not enough when just parents make it right.

The Signature of all things- a book

After all the DVDs, maybe you want to buy a book for x-mas or for a birthday? Then I can recommend my new discovery!

Elisabeth Gilbert surely known as the writer of  -Eat, Pray, Love-  has given out a new book and it's a big one. It's different to the last one but also keeps the track on the growing theme. It's a book about a women who has the luck to be a kid of a rich father and therefore be able to discover many things by herself as this plays in a time where women had less then zero education. 

It's a story of a family and a women growing in and out of it and how she discover that there is more then being a smart mind. 

As with eat, pray, love- Elisabeth is able to express with a rich language and a lot of understandable pictures her story and the journey you follow with it. 

This book is in no way a women(s) book as it contains adventure, the jungle, a rising Philadelphia and the old Europe and science from that time. 

It's not a love story book, but a book about reconnecting mind, body and soul with the help of nature and other people. 

I sure had not a single boring minute reading it and it was not a bit to much or uncomfortable to read, thought with next to 600 pages, it took its time. 

Just the much alive picture you get from our past and history is so much fun to read. 

I just hope that this book will be better translated into other languages then - eat, pray, love-  as those bad translations killed the book. Especially the german translation was catastrophic. 

You see it was and is a New York Times Bestseller, but that does not mean a book is good. 

Here I can say it is. Refreshing use of language- not too complicated, not too simple- and a story who surprise you and while reading you wonder what's next as this book has so many pages. The book is also written in a way so you can understand the upcoming things. Which I really liked as it also did ad a lot of color to the book and you are able to learn some more things in the same time. Yes, you can discover a new world that way and relate to it. 

And after all it is a book of hope, which in the end will tell you it is never to late to change or just be better then you are now. A book for long travels or holidays? Absolute, as you travel in time and space with this book. 

Also I think this book is most needed in our time- as it is about education for all and about education of mind and soul! And it is about equality. It is not that long ago that we started to fight for just those things. Just now we have a backlash and so this reminder is very much appreciate. 

Have fun reading it self or give it to someone who'll will have the luck to enjoy these letters.

Tango Libré- a movie

Und weil wir gerade so schön bei französischen Filmen sind... Hier ein Film der den Tango als roten Faden hat. Ja, ein französischer Film erzählt sich seine Geschichte des Lebens mit Hilfe des Tangos. Interessante Kombination. 

Auf den Film bin ich durch den Schauspieler Francoise Damiens gekommen, der schon bei Natalie Küsst die männliche Hauptrolle übernommen hatte. 

Hier geht es um drei Männer, alle mit dem Gefängnis verhaftet, sowohl vor den Gitterstäben, als auch dahinter und wie könnte es beim Tango anders sein, so ist es auch ein Film um Liebe, Begehrlichkeiten und in diesem Falle, drei Männer und eine Frau. 

Keine Komödie, aber ein Film der zu Herzen geht, jedoch weder Kitschig ist, noch sich endlos in Tanzszenen abspielt. Der Tango ist eher das verbindende und zur Verständigung beitragende Element. Er wird Mittel der Eroberung, der Konkurrenz und schliesslich der Befreiung. So tanzt sich der Film ähnlich einem Tango um seine Figuren, nähert und entfernt sich ihnen, ergreift sie brutal und schmeichelt ihnen wieder. 

Dies ist durchaus eine Herausforderung, wenn man schön gemalte Filme aus Hollywood gewöhnt ist.

Auch braucht es bei einigen Szenen durchaus den Willen des Zuschauers, sich mit weniger schönen Bildern abzugeben und Realitäten wahr zu nehmen, die diese Figuren umgibt. Meist ruhig erzählt, versinkt der Film aber nicht im Sand und nimmt zum Ende hin Fahrt auf. Vom Cover her mag man einen etwas romantischeren Film erwarten, in mehr freundlicheren Farben, aber da täuscht man sich. Auch ist dies weder ein Tanzfilm, noch ein Tango Film. Jedoch ein Film mit wunderbaren Schauspielern und der Frage, wie weit wirst du gehen?

Better then chocolate - a movie

-Better then chocolate- is a comedy from the 90'tis and like the cover is showing you're guessing right, it is about two young girls. But also a mother who discover her child in new ways and herself and a brother who still has no borders and therefor is open to try new ways with a hot girl and also a man who is a women who is a friend. 

It's a comedy lead buy reality as it shows much of our live and what is going on but also the comic parts of it as mostly our life is funny if we look back at our drama days. Well, mostly. 

It is a little movie and you may say why seeing a lesbian movie? Why not is the answer as this movie also shows why not seeing it and enjoy. Some clichés may perish. For man and women. Of course as it is a comedy it is always a bit over the top but always with taste. The acting is sensual and earnest and the storyline fit in all aspect even thought some drama is maybe a bit over the top, but otherwise it matches all the way and you gotta laugh a lot. Though in the beginning of the Movie it takes time to get warm with it. But just a couple of minutes then the speed goes up in the storytelling. So, another DVD/ movie I can recommend without a doubt and be sure not only for lesbians! And after all, how could you not like that sweet couple! And the mother, well... you'll gonna love her in some way and the title of the movie is to discover on her or with her- who knows ;-).

Kilometer 0- a movie

-Kilometer zero- is a spanish movie from several years ago. It is a compilation of some stories who all takes place in Madrid on a hot summer day. 

The stories are -some realtime, some just are funny, some are dreamy and all have their own reasons but yes they do gather together in the end. Typical kind of movie that way- isn't it.

Kilometer zero is a starting and meeting point in Madrid which does exist in real. So is it for all the figures in the movie, may they be a child, a mother a lover or a girl who wants to marry but is a kid of bad luck at all. 

This is a sweet and amusing and in the end also little hot movie you can enjoy alone or with friends, even with your family. A perfect present for friends I think who loves little movies with funny stories and surprises at the end. And as the cold winter times arrive, this movie will surely warm you up and as the acting and cutting is really something you will enjoy, you should not miss this film. 

Easy going and traditional, but with a good artwork. Then it is yours.

777 Berlin

Happy Birthday to my hometown. 

Now you have the age of 777. Well if this isn't something to celebrate! 
Although you could be older then we actually know as it is the case that we found evidence who are older then this official date. But anyway older or not you gotta have a history on your back. Becoming one town as you were two villages -> Berlin and Kölln. Now you have taking inside your belly all the other villages around you which is quite a very differnet history to most towns of the world if not you are the only one made of villages, which by the way everyone can still feel walking through the streets. But you got the best and worst too, inside your liveline. So has Art of every kind found a place to start and stay (most of the time) and express but also facist minds got a starting and melting point in you. Oh two world wars and a wall in the middle and around your town have cross your heart for a while. 

I can pretty well remember 27 years ago, you were still parted in two we celebrate your 750 birthday and all the kids in the east part had to wear something traditional from Berlin- meaning being a shoemaker boy or a flower girl and like that. We did remember your past from the 1900 till 1930... mostly...
Yes. How crazy life can be with you and how challenging for every town in the world. Oh you had first just as every city one big centrum and then two- now you have three and actually no real one and above all this you have with the Potsdamer Platz kind of a town in a town. 
Always changing your way of being but actually you stood the line as you where a town not for everyone but the outsiders and creative people in good and bad. 

So just now I fear you could just for a moment forget about this, about you as you have become bit too cheap and a bit to much for everyone. 
But chances are on all your ways and you got a lot of people who actually care about you and remember that you never need to be a town like the others. Be special, be love, be creative, be one of it's kind and by the way- you don't need to compare yourself to other towns as it was never in your blood. You'll never be Paris and London or New York and why should you. You are a big dame, but a very special and very big dame. No lady at all but you can be smart if you want and be nice too-  o.k. maybe your kind of a funny girl and sometimes lady too. 
Berlin, your green, so green and have so much space that no one ever needs to feel spaceless. 
Which most of your people really do appreciate. And so most of us are quite happy that you have stopped going faster. It does not do good for you. 
But now... it is much fun being with you, all the culture, clubs and stores, all the possibilities to have a family and meet friends, all the coffee shops and nice places we can walk, your TV- tower and Funk- tower, your parks and hills and oh your old and new houses and yes all the not so nice buildings too, your art scene and music scene is splending and you give so much creative impulse that it is a gift for us. My dear thank you for so much and much more in good ways and things, even though we sometimes forget it and are overshadows of fear and dark nights and crime as it is a big town with problems as many towns have. 

Berlin I toast to you as you gave me a place to grow and find people I will never miss and also people who in their way thought me a lesson or two. Thank you for teaching me to fight in all ways and also for trying all the way I want to. Yes, Berlin you have in Germany the most start ups who succee and you are a place to try without fear whatever it may be a man is curious about. Thought some people do this without a look of what they do to others. But my dear I thank you for always show us the light if we fear the dark. And for myself the tv-tower should stand as long as possible, because it is a fixing point and a sign of hope and orientation. Stand tall and be proud and be real, but most of all be Love.
Berlin is Love and so Berlin loves you!

Let's talk about Cancer

Let's talk about cancer as it is the month of breast cancer. 

Breast cancer is one of the most cancer forms at women, but men can get it too. 

Well, today we gotta talk about more then breast cancer, because cancer is one of the most common diseases we know in the western world. It is seldom that you won't know someone who has it or had it, no matter how lucky they were in the end. 

Cancer is also called the king of all diseases. This meaning is to take for a much bigger picture you should have when you talk about this illness. The bigger picture includes the pharmacy, the doctors, the family, the economic, the image one gets and so on... For many people cancer is hell and one of the worst things in life and for others this is pure joy and happiness. It is therefore clear that the happy part is more to find on the science side and the pharmacy industry. The big "C" is almost mad of fear. Fear is leading the information the most gets about cancer. Fear is what most have when they think about it. We fear to get it, to have it and to die from it. This is a politic the pharamcy has driven very well the last 50 till 60 years. It helps to rais mony, it helps to make people make speeding up in their decisions as this means mostly that they don't take the time to think about what is the best treatment to their own cancer form. Fear leads also to the point that most ignore as long as they can the danger some things include. In our everyday live we are used to many things and we know much more often that we should better not ignore when something is bad for our health. Starting with our food, then go on with our drugs, but then again all the chemical things we surround us with, all the dangerous stuff in the earth or nearby or at work. 

In that case isn't it interessting that the pharmaceutical industry and politic has easy to connect things to cancer but when it comes to pay for it, then they try everything to tell us, that it was not because of them and the way they treated us. 

But how can this fight be so heard to get justice? It is just because we don't really kow everything about the reason why we get cancer and why not. Most of us surely know that smoking can lead to cancer, even snus -the scandinavian version of taking tabac-. Mostly we don't like to think that it is more then that. Because it is also what you eat, how you work and liv, how you think, what you drink and what your gene tells you. But surely we have to discover a lot more. So money is needed they say and I say I am not that sure for the med is expencive and the pharmaceutical lobby has got more then much money to fight cancer but wait, after all the years their must be some success and there is but not that much as it could be although it should be because if you start searching the internet and going deeper into the world of cancer you will discover that many treats are hidden. Meaning, we could help more and better if the pharmaceutical industry and the doctors would not prefer money. Sadly this is very true as I hear and see it again and again and here we come back to just breast cancer. 

Oh what the doctor will tell you can be much you have to go through but do you need it? 

Here we are! Far to less people ask an other doctor for advise. Far to many ask a thirth one. But you should and of course never tell them what the other said. You should and will be therfore surprised how different the advises are. It actually does not need to be a most radical cure. It can be saver, better, smaller. Including the alternative medicine. Actually science shows since years that one treatment in time after the next is better then all together. Mostly and operation will be part of it when it is about breast cancer. Then comes the well know chemo but some may tell you that a radiotherapy must be done to which is as far as I know since the '90tees not helping more or making it better. 

As for the other cancer forms it should be clear said that an operation is not always the best way or the only opinion. But be sure if you feel like that, take a look at the alternative medicine too. Not as the only cure but as something to strongen your body. A mix of both, the western way and eastern way of cure is mostly to recommend. Because a therapy is always a fight, a heavy thing and you need something which helps your body and soul to recover. Here the "alternative" medicine is very helpful as it also includes meditation and other simple tings. Give it a try if you can.

Now I am pretty sure you will be confused. That is o.k. and the leading rule in cancer is above all: take your time to get to know the treats and then decide from inside yourself, from your heart, yes shut the mind and feel. This way it is always the right one and no one can tell you better then you yourself. Whatever way you choose, no one has the right to blame you for something. And as for the reason why you've got it is the best advise to let this go and wonder where you've got it because the part of the body which got it says something about the theme you should work with. And yes after all the helping hands you will get, you can help yourself most by being positive and find things to laugh about and work with yourself- work it out -meaning this: look at yourself, what are the so called weak parts and actions, your fears and so on... change the attitude and the way you look on things and after all take your time. You may feel god after the first therapy and your body may seems alright again, your soul will mostly need a longer time and actually your body too. No one can say how long you should take your time to recover but as I experienced far to often, many go back to work and doing things to early. 

And there is another thing. Life does not necessarily change in a big way. Mostly it will go on as before and therefore it is important to keep going on with the things you want and need to change. This can take more time then you ever thought of. 

But how to avoid getting cancer? Can you avoid it. Can you take the walk around it and stay healthy? Actually there is no guaranty. But you can try to live healthy and remember what you have learned and read, but also you can go to all the checkups. And take a look at yourself once in a while. Touch your breast and feel after changes. Test your armpits and feel your lymph. Have they become bigger, harder? Test your testicle while you shower. Do you feel something different as before? Know that cancer is typical here for young men and you don't have to be 40 or 50 or older.  Go to the Colonoscopy and  watch your hole skin top to bottom. Let friends help you to check your back if you can't watch it self. 
You see, there are many things you can do and hope of course is never wrong and always to remember to liv your life as much the way you want it. 
Life is not about how long you live, it is about what you do and the way you do.

Because after all no cancer form has really an age limit.

Love is a concept. Love is a feeling. Love is spiritual and Love is a picture.

We love the Love.

We love the picture of Love.

But is Love important?

Does Love really exist?

How do you know it?

-So Love does not exist?

...

-So if not- but sex exists?

What sex do you mean?

-The one act two people can have.

Sex is a concept, sex is a chemical reaction, a physical attraction and sex is a spiritual thing. Does this mean it exists?

How do I know it when I even don’t know if you understand the same as I?

How do I know what you think and see if you are never in my mind?

All I see is my reality and there I can believe you talk the same way I do, but I will never know.

It is like the universe, which has no end and no beginning.

A concept we will never understand. Cos everything is in the same time and so it is in existence and not even existing.

But even so I will never know if you have the same understanding of this as I.

In my imagination I hope we have the similar reality.

There things can exist and be important but even so it is not existing.

Cos it can’t be and therefore it can.

So does Love exist?

It is the way you understand it.

Is Love important?

Yes and No.

-Is then our live important?

Yes and No.

It depends on how you see on it.

Live is inside you and around you.

Live is a concept and a biochemical reaction.

Live is a creation and a logical reaction.

Live is what we believe to see.

But is live important? To whom?

If we don’t exist and then exist in the same time.

How can it be important? How can’t it be?

So it’s the way you see.

Crazy, Stupid, Love - a movie

A man comes in his crisis. He became boring, kind of. His wife is going to leave him and he is looking for advise. A young man should help, because he is a leading man and a womanizer. 
He tries and is successful and so the story goes on, but his wife or ex- wife has already some new guy and then the womanizer is going out with a girl he starts to love so he wants to have advise from a man who was once in love and still is.  
A mix of stories putting together- right her and now.

This is a typical hollywood production. Fast made, with plots you see long before they are happening. With good acting, but more casual, then real good. A movie with a bunch of big or not so big names. 
They say it is a comedy, but I found it less funny then expected. 
They say it is a real good movie, but I found it rather dull then entertaining. 
The acting is like I said not the best and not the worst. 
The story is well - has good moments and the idea is funny but went out lame. 
So can you watch this movie? 
You can and won't die of a hearth attack and won't be pushed to hard to think through the time watching. 
But to be true... you're not missing a thing letting it be. Go out and have your own new love affair with your wife! This will bring you better time.

Männer al dente- a movie

A film by Ferzan Ozeptek. This man is known for good films. That is for sure. I saw the movie in Sweden thanks to a friend and now found out the german title. Actually the original title is "me vaganti". And I must admit the swedish film company knew the better words for the german name is quite not what the film is about but so they ad a view words which tell you more about the theme.
So what is it about? A family in Italy who owns a big pasta company and the story takes place in a time when the father of all wants to give it to his sons. But those guys have another idea of what to do with their lives. Although this film starts with the story of the grandmother, but don't be afraid... you won't get bored. The youngest son Tommaso wants to tell the family that he wants to step out of the way they have planed but his older brother gets in the way. Now the carousel is starting to turn again but with different solutions. The turnings in the story are just amazing. Part of the story is told as a reminder of the memories of the grandmother. But I have to say that it all works for me. I never lost the path and loved all the little ideas they had while making the movie. 

And then we have the young women who becomes a partner in crime. She also is a story in a story, but fits in so smart, that you dare not to tell it. 
It's a comedy but you will cry too. The drama is near the laugh and it's about the fact, that every moment is the right moment to get happy. A comedy al Italia they say it is. Yes this is very much like it. It also is a movie about Italy and the way they live, act and think. Family is of course always included. 
A family movie? Yes it is! But also does this movie make you think of holiday in summer, maybe Italy. Cos the colors you watch are so warm and the story goes on right straight into your hearth. 108 minutes of fun and drama awaits you. With or without noodles, you'll will have a good time.

Russia, Ikea, Coca Cola and the Olympics in the winter there‏

I am one of the facbook followers and there I see a lot of different things and just now there are a lot of evidence, pics about the situation in Russia. Hopefully the best is to read but it's the other way 'round. A lot of sad things and discuasting things are to see and read. 
What happend. Well Russia, part of European is not that democratic like it is told. It became more and more the opposide in the last years. Putin, now again on the top, is very much like a Hitler to the old German folk. Unluckely it seems that most russian people seems to agree with him or we have a totally wrong picture of it. Russians economy was never the best and the big money- they never had- excapt for the oil thing. That made some people rich but the rest of the country is still poor, poor and poor. So much mistaken, so much went wrong and I wonder how much hope you have and how much you people in Russia realise is up to you. 
The demoracy is more a dictatorship and the new laws some came up are very much backward then forward to the human rights and for the living of freedom. To forbbid to tralk about gay issus is a start to make people fear and fight people who have their own opinion- no matter what it is about. 
But it also is a damn thing to give these forbbiding to people from outside the country and to put people in jail for just speaking out. 
This is more then just a dictators thing. 
But the saddest thing above this is, contrarry to what politics and church orthodox church leaders says, those laws makes the violance bigger and gives them place where they should be non. 
You know, I remember so well how often they said that if we are tollerant and accept people simple for what they are, that this will distroy marriage, will destroy morality and also lead to violance but it never did happen- just look around, everywhere where they let it be, it's peace and no marraige was destroid, and no one was humilated. 
But now in Russia, people get beaten up just because they could be gay. Young man get killed, just because the sympathy was on the side of people who love people. 
THIS is a shame for you in Russia. 
If you feel not that way... you are a sad person. Beating up does never show strength and that you are strong. It just shows how weak and stupid you are and that you think your own life is worth nothing then a shit. 
Yes that's what you are telling yourself when you support this. Hate (crime) against other people no matter reason why is always showing yourself how less you think of yourself and human rights, of women, of children, of animals of peace and love. 
Is money all you care about? That is the next question,not only to you, also to Mc Donald and Coca Cola and Co. who support with money into your Country- Russia, like for the next Olympic games. Games who stand for showing the difference and fearness to each other and that everyone is worth the same, worth the support and worth the love. is mony really everything? So then does it hurt if we say no more money to the Russia, no more Vodka, no more Russia products... Poeple look where your cloths are made and forget bying those who are made in Russia. Was'n that also IKEA who let made things up there? Well then- no supoort for IKEA for saying nothing to the situation in Russia. Should we keep us outside? Normally we better do, but this is about human rights!
The other day I read that on of the Russian church leaders told to the people that he saw the sign of chaos and nightmare in the western world. Well, yes things change, because people care and love and start believing again, that money is less worth then all the other things in the whole world. People want an economy which care for health of the people and want the earth to breath as long as possible and to heal it's wounds. Cos like Russia alway did and still does.. so did and do the rich countries companies, humilating the nature. In the western world people wake up and see who really the treador is. So maybe you there my friends in Russia should start too, cos being blind does not give you the benefit of staying innocent. You should know better.
So... many people in the western world worry about the mental health of a country, which goes the NAZI way, the facist mind and follow a Hitler, a Stali which can only lead to big, big trouble for you. 
But remember human rights means to let people live the way everyone should- the way of not hurting anyone, not beating up anyone, not humilating anyone, not killing anyone, not sending someone to jail because he has it's own opinion, loves an other people (and the Bible never did tell it's forbidden to be homosexual.. and remember there are so much more warnings about heterosexuals, but above all do your homework- read it and remember this book is fiction! It tells stories to have an idea of how you should live to stay healthy and love and survive and all should be seen in the way we know best from sience too.).
And at last... if you so much believe in god, then remember Jesus too and the words of love each other, one another like you should love yourself, respect yourself and be kind to others. Maybe you can't understand everything, but if you are a strong person, a fair person, you let them live and stay away of violance. 
The trouble you have home there in Russia is not the fould of gays, jews, blacks and others.. it's your own. 
So stop hiding behind wrong laws and a president who gives a shit on you. 
And yes I know my own president and Bundeskanzlerin is the worst to show support to human rights. WE already tell her this. But the truth is.. those oil thing maybe is the reason why she is like a fallen girl. 
But I can only think that as much as I feel sad for you.. I send you Love & Light to help you to wake up and to shine again instead of hide again. The future is never lost. 

The Secret

Did you saw the movie "The Secret"? The one where a woman told you about how she found out what the secret in live is? Well there are some.. and it's better to watch the film more then once and really think about what you saw and heard and the same with the book with same name... Do it more then once to read it... But also this is to be with things like this.. 
I mean meditation, reading Laotse, or words of Buddha or a sanskrit shant... all these things gives you the chance to stop... and think...  and change yourself, but the thing with those thing is.. 
It's nice to stop for a moment and think about it and see where you stand actually and then do some moves. 
Oh it's absolutely nice to be aware of your habits but this makes you no better. Neither if you really change your habits in one way or more. Well, to be true for most of us it's just like make a break like a holiday and then... we go back to all the old ways we went before. 
Most of us do so easy and so quickly and even more of us don't ever get aware of this... not in the first time... 
We feel it coming back and one day, when we're in big trouble again, we remember....Ooh...oh.. yes... Mhh and feel bad. 
That for sure is the most stupid thing we can do, but we have got to learn this. 
Yes, a very long time in our live we learnt to react like this. 
So again, are you aware of your negative habits? Are they negative? Are they? Or are those habits just pictures you learn, way of reactions you learn... I mean look around... to be a free man is a challenge...! Why.. are you free? Really? Mostly we're not, even many of us think we are.. How come..?
Once more and again... look around you... what you see?

Eat, drink and try..
Oh Cinemas... Music... Shows... You are getting entertaining all the time.. even your bank is entertaining you... 
And all are using the words "free, freedom, peace, love and god, make a holiday, you are worth it, you are beauty, you can do it, you need it to be better...and so on, more and more positive words"... to poison you..
Why is that?
Isn't it clear?
To keep your mind away from the real thing..

How?... Don't understand it?... 
O.K... then again... remember..
You need nothing - none of those things, even those entertaining you is out of sense... !
But all those entertaining you makes it hard for you to change your habits.. Because you see the surface and only this you should- if it's about them, who do entertain you... Because behind the surface there is a not so nice truth.. The price we pay for living the surface... It's a big price and you have learnt to be ashamed of it, so they make it easy for you to look away... 
You know it's no god somehow, but you do.. and getting afraid of feeling more of your shame next time...is also something they thought you. Yes...! Fair is everything for them to keep you little. 
Because there is nothing to be ashamed of but you will forgive and all the victims will forgive you at the end. Cos you did not know better to be. But you have a chance..always... always... Now and tomorrow...
Time is not the question... It's always the right time.. Well, the price is another question... Will it be a hard one..? Doesn't mean to be.. can be.. I can't tell you your way... But trust me.. starting it is the most important thing... and no- I don't tell you to change from one to a 1000%... 
Just start, do as you can, get aware, change step by step and as much you can... 
Start wherever you want.. Keep an eye on your mind, what are you thinking.. once in a while.. and with time you will do it more often and then there will be a time you just do... The same with what you eat.. start with what you by and what is really god for you, what is made in peace and without harm, and so on.... just go on... on and on and on... till you just do... the same with meditation... just do... no matter how god you are, the masters have had the same start as you... now... 
That's what I am trying to do... and since I know that it's o.k. not to meditate every day, not to do my sport every day, since I know, everything has it's own time.. I more and more stop to be in a hurry...  That really makes me feel better... and more and more I see why I should stop old habits, why they are not god or better... why I want to change- because the price I have to pay... well I will not pay every price, I don't have to... why should I..? But so I start changing little things... learn.. forget, remember, learn again, see it more clear and then try it again... No matter what theme it is... pic one and start... 

Mood, your feelings will show you the trace.... If they are not god, your on the wrong trace... simple... If you feel sad, bad or something negative then just ask yourself what is the reason and then change it... What are the patterns who brings you where you don't want to be..? 
My pattern, my old pattern don't leave me that easy... likely to most of us.. we have loved them too much, cherish them and feed them... but have patience... you get rid of them, just be aware when you are on the old trace.... stop for a moment and say "Goodbye"... oh this sounds silly... foolish... YES... it does, you're right, but then.. again... remember... think, think, think... see and see with your heart... You know the answer already.. You always knew.. the answer lies in us...
