Crazy, Stupid, Love - a movie

A man comes in his crisis. He became boring, kind of. His wife is going to leave him and he is looking for advise. A young man should help, because he is a leading man and a womanizer. 
He tries and is successful and so the story goes on, but his wife or ex- wife has already some new guy and then the womanizer is going out with a girl he starts to love so he wants to have advise from a man who was once in love and still is.  
A mix of stories putting together- right her and now.

This is a typical hollywood production. Fast made, with plots you see long before they are happening. With good acting, but more casual, then real good. A movie with a bunch of big or not so big names. 
They say it is a comedy, but I found it less funny then expected. 
They say it is a real good movie, but I found it rather dull then entertaining. 
The acting is like I said not the best and not the worst. 
The story is well - has good moments and the idea is funny but went out lame. 
So can you watch this movie? 
You can and won't die of a hearth attack and won't be pushed to hard to think through the time watching. 
But to be true... you're not missing a thing letting it be. Go out and have your own new love affair with your wife! This will bring you better time.

Nate and Margaret - a movie

Another movie to talk about. 
It's quite a different story, although not that unknown. 
What is it about? Somehow two people becoming friends. The young Nate and the lot older Margaret. 
No this is not another version of Harold & Maude.
Hr is a young and open guy, while she is a little prude and closed. She tries to be an easy person and is doing stand up comedy. 
They talk about everything and go together out, as Nate doesn't care about what other people think of them, not like Margaret who is following but looking around what other may think.
But nevertheless they seem to catch up from time to time and feel good together, have fun and share a lot. Seems they have much in common till one day- and we expect this- something new arrives and their friendship come to a test. Both have to come out of their bubble and shell and so ways getting apart. 
Now you could expect corny story telling or a lot of cliches coming up but this is not happening in this movie. 
The drama is told in a very smooth and soft way, although it is not like touching it like it is a vulnerably thing. The fun comes often unexpected and is kind of gentle. 
So it is not a loud movie and will not bring you to tears without end, but you want to follow the story to the end, knowing how they cope. 
Cose you see in some ways yourself, your own mistakes and stupid acting you do sometimes. You hope there is a way out and you know their can be. 
Well, this movie is one of those you will like watching, and afterwards you will think a bit about it. Not bad for a movie, as we have a lot where you feel nothing at all afterwards. 
Thought it's not a magic and magnificent film you will watch. Yes best to watch it with friends, maybe your best friends. 
If I had to rate it would be 4 of 5 stars... 

Love & Light

Berlin

Heard about this town? I mean the one in Germany. The place who was called cool the last year. Yes we all say sometimes poor, but sexy too to this town. 
Just now some claim Berlin is out now, but this can't be, can it?  Just in the end of last year, Berlin  was called the best place to travel and live for young and old right now. We even pushed out New York! 
It's cheap, it has a lot of culture and good food, and a lot of space, also a lot of different clubs, so you can find your place to stay.
Yes many come to party here into my town, not thinking about the fact, that our party locations are to find between the flats of people. We don't have special areas for them, we have them next to us. 
Actually we like this fact only with the rise of the numbers of tourist who are welcome to our town, we can't sleep anymore, because just when the last one wants to go to bed, it starts getting real loud. Why, well drunk people don't care. Especially drunk tourist don't care. Sadly but true. 
But no wonder with an explosive rise we are dealing with just now, things change into more commercial, more common way like you find in other towns too, which means, part of the ol' Berlin, why you come here- disappear. 
A normal process but nevertheless it changes the town and so people start wondering is Berlin the same place and will this be good, will we keep what we are known for? 
We won't, but is this a problem? For short term yes, but then Berlin is always in process, so how does this concern us? 
Well the beauty here, always was a special freedom of living and thinking and acting. Now this has changed because of tourist and people who move to Berlin because of the image but can't stand the results of this living so they want people to be quite, to be "normal" to act like they know it from home. 
Bad news. This does not function in long time. 
So you better prepare to move away someday. 
Well, here we have another problem. People who made this town the way it was before the changing - they are moving first, because they no longer want to deal with this. Although most people never stay more then the typical 10 till 20 years, and yes- some would never move if the character of the town did not change that much like it already did. 
So is Berlin out now? Not yet, this is just writing of some papers to get affection, but we in Berlin have to think about how to deal with the future. How much is too much? We have a lot of space so we can deal quite well with this but just imagine, four years ago we had only 3 Million people making their holiday here and now we have had last year over 12 mill. and with all the weekend tourist and those who come just one day we had over 25. 
That's a rise! 
So imagine the rise of prices, the rent, the cost for a living, the money you pay for a flat and in the same time no one earns more money here but more and more people are moving into town. 
Thought this sounds tuff you still can like this town very much and get quality, good way of living, party and intellectual input. 
One of the things who shows to everyone how much this town is working with the way we are living are the pics on the walls you can find everywhere in town.  A day would not be enough to catch them all. Some are just funny, some are political, some tell you a story and some talk to you as a tourist. The creative scene here is watching everyone and Berlin is watching you. 
And Berlin people don't really care if the town is cool, in or out. It's what happens here. It's how this will go on which will make this town. Just now, we don't know if this will get into a better and still free future. We can only try. Cos many who came here are not here anymore because they have to. They can go whenever they want. 
The town was, yes, a bit tired of having to be something, then being shocked by the storm which came and also from the politic, who made things which make us kind of angry. 
Now the town is awakening.
We discover our little stores who sell things made of real quality and not with the price of cheap production, of working children, of damaging nature in every possible way. 
We are coming back to real food and true acting and are going on to be stronger, finding our back and soul. We look closer and closer and around. 
Because we know you can learn from other towns. 
Oh yes the mass will be what it always was...I have no illusions about that... it will  following the strongest path. Which one this will be? We're gonna see!
But isn't that the adventure of life? Going step by step, following a path, until you learn there is only one to follow... your own and then step by step going through the joy and fear in life. Life the big and in the same time little one. We can't hide no matter where we are. 
Just ask ourself what are we going to do. What are we able to deal with. 
Questions of people, of a town, of a life. 
But how much we are crowing, how much we are awakening... those pictures will give you a little idea of it.

Sotchi

Say something, I'm giving up on you.... 
Well, I may be tired, but giving up is never a choice on my way through this live.
And today I try to bring up some thoughts for the finishing of the Olympic games. 
One is a line I read: Only the thinking person changes their mind. 
And another one I remember is that only the brave will change the world. Although you don't need to be brave like in a movie or a fairy tale, but thinking, seeing and trying to get as near to the truth is important when you want to stop being blind by choice.
So Sotchi. 
Is over now and if you where not to blind you saw a big shadow over the games.
Many shadows actually. Some have not the reason in Sotchi, like the "war" in Ukraine. But others are to find on other places too. Like how you treat human kind and human dignity by being blind.
Yes the competition where as usual, fine, and great and also we had our drugs addicts. 
The show was going on as usual but then not as usual. Things have changed. 
You cannot be proud about wasted money to corruption. You can not be happy about people not getting their salary for the hard work they did. You cannot shine when you are not ready with the most buildings. And absolutely you cannot be happy by taking the sports man and women into a dirty game of politic. 
The IOC has sold the best they have to nothing. 
Cos what is the victory worth they got? 
Like nothing.
Because you cannot show love, cannot show empathy, cannot show life as it is- colorful and different. Because we are all different, we are all human, and in this special matter we are the only animal who knows homophobia, transphobia and so on. 
In next to every race you find homosexual habits and this never harm anyone. 
No other animal is killing his brother, sister or whatever just because he loves the same sex. 
No other animal then the human race beats each other for just the reason you think different, love different. 
No other animal then the human race claims the happiness is in danger because of homosexual feelings. 
The human race is the only stupid one. 
In that case... ( and some others..)
This is or could be a scary thought, couldn't be?
But how can you say something is unnatural, when it is exactly that... NATURAL.. or as we say it these days: When did you chose to be heterosexual? Cos if being gay is a choice, so is being heterosexual.

So to know a truth is easy. To tell truth is much more. But to understand and live the truth a challenge and to take the truth is the hardest way. 
Yes I know that first you'll be ignored, then laughed out and then be tried to fight back, before you can just live. 
That's what gays and lesbians, trans and intersexual people want. 
Just live a life without fear, danger and with the same right to kiss, hold hands, talk about it and so on. 

Forget telling me the lines from the bible, we all know them but also all the other lines and maybe you know what them means... and by the way, if you show me them, do you live by them yourself... bet not. Anyway.
Forget telling me about traditional marriage, because if you did your homework, you knew that there is no such thing. 

So this Sotchi is a start to think about, first- where to let the games start, second- how big and important human dignity should be, and then where has the love gone?!
Because if this is all about money- and just now it is, then it should be dead.
Blinding people by sport is nothing new, but telling them hate is the new truth is simple a waste of money and so we give out a waking call into the world, cos it seems sometimes, that the worst situation collects the most people in front of the TV. How can you watch games painted in blood? 
You are less weak then you are lazy and being stupid by choice.
So...
Love is the reason we came together in Berlin to show respect, strength and power and to talk to people, to show them, to make them see. 
Love is the reason why people tell us how they secretly live together for 40 years. 
Love is the reason why we hear stories from russian tourist about sexual abuse and how this is used to take you into prison, letting you get raped and then throwing you out being an outcast. 
Love is the reason why we show the videos from russian Nazis how they harm young people just because they may be gay. 
Love is the reason why we talk about places in the world where you get killed because hate lead people to the conclusion you're not worth a damn and therefore you should be killed. 
Love is the reason why we can tell that all this may be in the name of religious but never in the name of Jesus, God or Love itself. 

I can understand, if you don't understand the way of life of another people but this should never be a reason to beat, harm, kill, abuse and forbid others to talk about. 
So...
Love is the reason why we try our best to show to those who are in fear, in situation with darker shadows then we have in our own country, that we don't look away, that we still are on to trust into, relate too and we are still in a fight for a positive, loving future, all around the world.
The drum beats will never end before love is acceptable for all.

Peace is what we all want- well most of us, if you are less selfish as some... 
Love is all we need and want and can get and even give, but only when we let lose of hate, of being blind by choice, of being stupid by looking away.

So.... giving hope is a choice we made and will make again and again.. spreading Love, the fire of colors, the chance of happiness in each and everyones live...!

Somewhere over the rainbow and beyond and behind there is not only a blue sky, there are birds which fly, so why shouldn't we?

Love is for free and the open minded.... stop being blind, stop looking away... breath and talk... say something good, say something loving..

The Lorax - a movie

Now again about a film I saw. Actually I saw this movie when I had a long flight.
So just tried it and was not really surprised but neither mad about it.
The movie is a bout a young boy, growing up in a world which seems to be nice and good and everything just is good. He then tried to find out what it is behind this holy world, after he did something for a girl. 
So he climbed the walls and came back. Of course he could not be hidden for to long with his secret, but he doesn't give up going back to where the other world is. A world behind the wall. A very different world and there he meet the Lorax. A figured who once played a game which went wrong. 
The boy want's to know why and so he is not giving up asking. The adventure begins.

It's a fantasy film, a film for children and grown ups. It's easy, nice, funny and even creamy. Why? Well watch it and you'll understand. 
True, this movie is not that special, but worth it's time. Like a sweet thing you can eat. 
It's very hollywood, but not to corny. More a warm story.
So something for the afternoon, or lazy tea time. 
Something to sitt and watch with the whole family.
Something to get a smile.
And something to remember that there is always a chance to start anew, to begin again, to change what went wrong.
